SeaWolf Adventures BC Inc, operating as Sea Wolf Adventures (“we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on https://seawolfadventures.ca/ (the “Site”). This policy explains what they are, which ones we use, and the choices you have. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They let a site remember you between pages and visits. Some are essential for the Site to work; others help us understand how the Site is used or measure our advertising. “First-party” cookies are set by us. “Third-party” cookies are set by the services we use.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary. These keep the Site secure and let bookings, forms and calendars work. Examples are the session cookies used by our booking system (CheckFront) and our forms and calendars (High Level), and Cloudflare’s bot-protection cookies. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to count visits and see which pages are useful. They set cookies such as _ga, _gid and _gcl_au. The data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
Marketing. With your consent, we use Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure how well our advertising works and to show our ads to people who have visited the Site. Cookies include IDE and _gcl_au.
Embedded content. Some videos on the Site are hosted by YouTube and Vimeo, which may set cookies and receive technical information such as your IP address when a video loads or plays. Our booking calendar is provided by CheckFront and our forms by High Level; they may set their own cookies on their own pages.
Your choices
- Our cookie banner. The banner on the Site (provided by Cookiebot) lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing the cookies for this Site in your browser; the banner will then ask you again.
- Your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, parts of the Site, such as booking, may not work.
- Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
