Sea Wolf Adventures - Grizzly Bear Viewing

Wildlife Viewing, First Nations Cultural Experiences, and Wilderness Safaris in the Great Bear Rainforest

Gilakas’la gaxa’a kus laxan’s awi’nagwis. Our people, part of the Kwakwaka’wakw, have looked after this land for thousands of years. In turn, the land has looked after us. Sustainability has always been a way of life for us and conservation is at the heart of everything we do here at Sea Wolf Adventures, just as it has been at the heart of our people for millennia.

Trusted to share our traditions and territories with guests, we invite you to join us on a journey through (Musgamakw Dzawada’enuxw Territory), also known as the Broughton Archipelago and the Great Bear Rainforest in Northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Along the way you’ll meet the awe-inspiring animals and incredible Indigenous people who call this beautiful place home.

All-Inclusive Lodge Packages

Day Tours

Enjoy the comfort of a luxury tour, guided by Indigenous experts who share the truth behind our travels through the islands. By training and employing our own people, we ensure that our guides understand the importance of responsibly visiting our land and respecting the wildlife that resides here.

Combining cultural experiences with grizzly bear and whale watching safaris, we welcome you to our home on a truly unique Indigenous-led adventure in Western Canada. We are proud of our roots and our commitment to give back to our communities by keeping our culture active through our Indigenous guides, who each play a role in keeping our traditions alive.

Hear the stories behind the scenery, support our local communities, and experience a sustainable approach to wildlife viewing that preserves our precious territory for generations to come.

Welcome to our home.

Gilakas’la from Sea Wolf Adventures. ✨

As we step into a new year, we pause to honour the Indigenous stewards of this territory – whose knowledge, care, and presence have shaped this place over time.

Every Sea Wolf journey begins with a story:

🐟 Salmon returning home
🌲 Forests that give more than they take
🌊 Tide, time, and communities who have lived in relationship with this coast for generations

In 2026, we’re leaning into that connection – to the land beneath our feet, the wildlife around us, and the responsibility that comes with traveling here at all.

When you travel with us, you’re not just witnessing wildlife. You’re learning how this coast works, and why protecting it matters – the instrinsic value of nature. 🌿

As the year begins, what does traveling with purpose mean to you in 2026?

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re opening space for meaningful journeys.

That’s a Wrap ~ 2025 Lodge Season

Today we set out on our final journey of our inaugural season; a day filled with reflection, gratitude, and quiet joy. Each trip is more than a tour; it is a chance to witness the living heartbeat of our homelands; whales breaking the surface, grizzlies at the river, eagles soaring above the rainforest. To share these moments is a gift, and to end the season feels both bittersweet and humbling.

This year carried a new depth through our partnership with Sointula Lodge; together we created an experience where guests could not only see our territory but feel it. Out on the water, awe and wonder; back at the lodge, comfort and warmth. The rooms offered rest, the meals became memories, and the stories shared around the table carried the spirit of connection. The feedback we received was heartfelt, with guests telling us they felt seen, welcomed, and cared for; to us, that is the greatest measure of success.

We will carry with us the moments of laughter, the tears of joy, the quiet silences in the presence of wildlife, and the deep pride of sharing who we are as Musg̱a̱makw Dzawada̱'enux̱w and Kwakwa̱ka̱’wakw people.

To our guests, our partners, and our crew; gilakas’la, thank you. You are now part of our story, and it is your support that allows us to continue walking with respect and responsibility for this land and these waters. This is Reconciliation in motion.
That is the close of our 2025 Lodge Experience; a season filled with travel~truth~beauty, and connection. #traveltruthbeauty #sointulalodge #seawolfadventures 📸 @kkufaas and @westcoastlife
